Texas: Lone Star Park at Grand Prairie only

Casino operator Run by Lone Star Park at Grand Prairie (Global Gaming Solutions, LLC).

Texas runs no statewide self-exclusion program. Neither the Racing Commission nor the Department of Licensing and Regulation offers one. This is a single racetrack's own process: at Lone Star Park in Grand Prairie you can ask any Security Supervisory staff member for a Self-Exclusion Request Form, fill it in and sign it there, and your wagering privileges at that property are voluntarily restricted. It covers pari-mutuel horse racing and simulcast wagering at Lone Star Park and nothing else in the state.

Reviewed 2026-09-24 against official sources. Every fact below links to the page it came from. How we check facts.

What it blocks

Covers pari-mutuel horse racing wagering and simulcast/Bar & Book wagering at Lone Star Park only, a single TXRC-licensed Class 1 racetrack in Grand Prairie. It does not cover any other Texas racetrack, tribal casino, or the state lottery. The statewide regulator (Texas Racing Commission) runs no patron self-exclusion program of its own: its only 'exclusion' mechanism (Occupations Code Sec. 2026.051-.054, 16 TAC Sec. 307.7) is an integrity-based ejection tool aimed at bookmakers, people whose income comes from illegal activity, and people convicted of racing-related offenses, and its published Ejection List names those individuals, not self-excluded patrons.

Self-exclusion programs do not all block the same things. Here is what the official rules say about each one.

How to enroll, how long it lasts, and the sources

Terms you can choose

Not verified: No term length (a fixed period, lifetime, or otherwise), renewal process, or automatic-expiry language is published.

When it ends

Not verified.

No term length and no removal process are published. Nothing establishes whether this restriction ever ends, so a date you write down proves nothing — ask the track directly.

How to enroll

Ask Lone Star Park security for the self-exclusion form.

This is the only route the track publishes. You have to be at the property: the form is obtained from, completed with and signed in front of Security Supervisory staff. No mail, email, phone or online route is published, and none is refused either. Nothing is published about what the track sends back, so ask for a copy of what you signed before you leave.

  1. Go to Lone Star Park, 1000 Lone Star Pkwy, Grand Prairie, TX 75050, and ask any Security Supervisory staff member for a Self-Exclusion Request Form. There is no form to download in advance.
  2. Complete and sign the form with that staff member. Signing it voluntarily restricts your gaming privileges at Lone Star Park.
  3. Ask what happens next, because none of it is published: how long the restriction lasts, whether it ever ends, what ID they check, and whether they will give you anything in writing. Write down the answers and the date.
  4. Treat this as covering Lone Star Park only. If you also wager elsewhere in Texas, at an out-of-state track, or through an online account, this form does nothing about any of them.

Before you count on it. This is one racetrack, not a state program. Texas has no statewide self-exclusion list of any kind — the Racing Commission's only exclusion power is an integrity tool aimed at bookmakers and people convicted of racing-related offenses, and its published Ejection List names those people rather than self-excluded patrons. Nothing is published about how long this restriction lasts, whether it can be lifted, what identification is checked, or whether you get any confirmation, so you are relying on what the staff tell you on the day. Sam Houston Race Park in Houston and Retama Park in Selma are run by a different company, PENN Entertainment. Neither publishes a self-exclusion process, so this form does not reach them and you would have to ask staff there. Three tribal gaming facilities operate in Texas and none publishes a self-exclusion mechanism on the pages that could be read. Whether someone living outside Texas may enroll is not established.

No mail, email, phone, or online enrollment route appears on the published page. No source refuses one either, so whether any of them works is not verified.
