Gambling self-exclusion in Georgia
Self-exclusion in Georgia: the one program on record can enroll you. Georgia: your online Georgia Lottery account only, run by the Georgia Lottery Corporation. First step: Open Self Exclusion in your Georgia Lottery account. It continues until you request removal. This is not everything in Georgia.

We list what we've confirmed. If a casino isn't here, we haven't found its program yet. That doesn't mean it has none.

| Georgia: your online Georgia Lottery account onlyState regulator Run by Georgia Lottery Corporation. | Online By phone Open Self Exclusion in your Georgia Lottery account. | Source says no | Confirmed | Confirmed | Confirmed | Confirmed | Until you ask to lift it | |
Before you count on it. The duration dropdown on the Corporation's own site has a defect, confirmed on 2026-10-01 by reading the page and its code: the "1 year" and "2 years" options carry the identical value of 12, and the page's code turns that value into an end date 12 months out. Picking "2 years" submits one year, while the confirmation dialog still says 2 years. If you want more than one year, the next option on the menu is 5 years. You can call the Player Information Hotline at 1-800-GA-LUCKY (1-800-425-8259) with questions about the term you chose. This reaches your online account and the mobile app. Lottery tickets sold in stores stay available to you, and so do Class A/B coin-operated amusement machines, which the same Corporation licenses and which its COAM pages describe no self-exclusion mechanism for. The Georgia Secretary of State says gambling other than the lottery, raffles and charity bingo is prohibited in Georgia, and we found no casino, sports-betting or racing regulator, so no other state list was found to join. The Secretary of State regulates charity bingo, and the bingo rules have no self-exclusion. You need an iHOPE account you already hold; no residency rule is published, and whether someone outside Georgia can use this is unresolved. Nothing is published about how quickly it takes effect. The only confirmation is the on-screen dialog, and no receipt is described. You also cannot apply for a new Georgia Lottery account while it runs. It does not lift on its own when the period ends. Reinstatement takes a phone call and a satisfactory evaluation by the Corporation, so it is not automatic. Opening the Self Exclusion page does not exclude you; only submitting the choice does. | ||||||||

How we checked
These are the kinds of gambling we checked. The list may not include every way to gamble in the state.
The Georgia Lottery Corporation is Georgia's one gambling regulator, and it administers the state lottery and Class A/B Coin Operated Amusement Machines (COAM) and nothing else. We found no casino, sports betting, racing or fantasy sports regulator in the state, and no self-exclusion mechanism for any of those. The only thing we could confirm you can enroll in is narrow: a self-service setting inside your own logged-in iHOPE online lottery account that closes it, and the mobile app, for a length of time you pick. It doesn't reach tickets you buy in a store. It doesn't reach COAM machines either. The Corporation's COAM overview and FAQ pages describe licensing with no self-exclusion mechanism. Watch the dropdown on the Corporation's self-exclusion page: the "1 year" and "2 years" options carry the same underlying value, so picking "2 years" currently submits 12 months. Charity bingo and raffles sit with the Georgia Secretary of State. Its bingo rules contain no self-exclusion provision, and we couldn't read the raffle law. We don't know whether any tribal gaming exists in Georgia, and no tribal reference appears anywhere on the Corporation's site. We don't know whether you can enroll if you live outside Georgia. We checked the official sources linked on this page, not every gambling option in the state.

If you also gamble outside Georgia
State lists stop at the state line. Some casino companies' own bans reach their properties elsewhere, and each program above says what it covers. If you also travel to nearby states to gamble, check their pages too:
