New Hampshire: online racing accounts, one provider at a time

State regulator Run by New Hampshire Lottery & Gaming Commission (rule-setter); enrollment obligation sits with each individually licensed ADW provider.

New Hampshire licenses six providers to take bets on horse racing through an online account (advance deposit wagering). Each must offer self-exclusion, for a set period or permanently, and each runs its own: none of their pages says an exclusion at one reaches another. Three publish a confirmed route: NYRA Bets by phone, and TVG and DraftKings Racing inside the account. DraftKings Racing is covered by the same self-exclusion as DraftKings Sportsbook: one submission reaches every DraftKings product. TwinSpires sends a form after a call, Xpressbet offers a permanent account block, and AmWager names a tool without steps.

What it blocks

N.H. Admin. R. Lot 8104.03(c) requires each ADW provider's responsible gaming plan to include 'Options available for individuals or account holders to self-exclude from wagering,' and Lot 8103.02(h) makes 'methods for persons to self-exclude for a specified period of time or permanently' a condition of obtaining an ADW license in the first place. This covers account-based wagering on live horse racing run outside New Hampshire; enrollment is per licensed provider account, not a statewide list. All six licensed providers publish a self-exclusion or permanent-block route of their own (see channels). None of the six pages carves out New Hampshire (the New York and Iowa carve-outs are the only state-specific text), and none says an exclusion at one provider reaches another.

Self-exclusion programs do not all block the same things. Here is what the official rules say about each one.

How to enroll, how long it lasts, and the sources

Terms you can choose

'A specified period of time or permanently,' per the provider's own responsible gaming plan (Lot 8104.03(c)); no specific term menu or removal procedure is published in the rule itself.

When it ends

Not verified.

The state rule requires a choice of a specified period or permanently, and publishes no removal procedure. Each provider sets its own: TVG says you contact Support to reactivate after the period, and Xpressbet says its permanent block cannot be removed.

How to enroll

Self-exclude with each racing account you hold.

You do this with each provider, not with the Commission: in your TVG or DraftKings account (one DraftKings self-exclusion covers its sportsbook and DraftKings Racing together), or by calling NYRA Bets at (844) NYRA-BET to request self-exclusion. The steps below cover all six, with what each one publishes.

  1. List the racing accounts you hold. New Hampshire's six licensed providers are TwinSpires/BetAmerica, Xpressbet, AmWager, NYRA Bets, TVG/FanDuel Racing and DraftKings Racing. Each provider takes its own request, except that one DraftKings self-exclusion covers DraftKings Racing and DraftKings Sportsbook together.
  2. TVG or FanDuel Racing: sign in and open Responsible Gaming, then Timeout & Exclusions, then Self-Exclude. TVG offers 1 to 5 years. While it lasts you cannot log in and get no marketing, and you contact Support to reactivate after the period.
  3. DraftKings Racing: if you have already self-excluded through DraftKings Sportsbook, this account is covered. DraftKings says one submission excludes you from every DraftKings product, including DraftKings Racing, in all locations. Otherwise sign in and choose Self-Exclusion under Breaks in DraftKings' Responsible Gaming Center. Bets already pending stay active.
  4. NYRA Bets (also Saratoga Bets, BetMGM Racing and Caesars Racebook): call customer service at (844) NYRA-BET and ask for self-exclusion. The same page offers a deactivation form to customers outside New York and Iowa and does not say which a New Hampshire account holder should use, so ask on the call.
  5. TwinSpires or BetAmerica: for permanent exclusion, call Player Services at 877-774-7371 and ask a supervisor for the Permanent Exclusion Form. Where the completed form goes is not stated, so ask on the call.
  6. Xpressbet: you can block your account permanently by email to help@1st.com, by phone at 1.866.889.7737 or by Live Chat. Xpressbet says the block cannot be removed once placed, and calls it an account block, not self-exclusion.
  7. AmWager: its page says its self-exclusion tool allows a temporary or permanent break and gives no steps. Ask its support how to use it.

Before you count on it. Each provider is separate. None of their pages has New Hampshire-specific rules, and none says an exclusion at one reaches another. The Commission's ADW@lottery.nh.gov address takes general questions about these accounts; it is not published as a way to self-exclude. Check that each account shows the exclusion before you rely on it. Whether eligibility depends on where you live is not established.

Every route we checked

Routes that enroll you

  • Online Not verified — Xpressbet LLC (xpressbet.com and its 1/ST brands): help@1st.com, 1.866.889.7737 or Live Chat
Xpressbet's Problem Gambling page: "Customers may block all access to their wagering accounts permanently by contacting us via email (help@1st.com), phone (1.866.889.7737) or Live Chat. PLEASE NOTE: Once a block of this nature is placed in connection with a potential gambling problem, it cannot be removed." The page calls it an account block, not self-exclusion, and offers no timed option, so it stays unknown as an enrollment route until the operator says it is its self-exclusion.
  • Online Not verified — AmWest Entertainment LLC (AmWager, bet365racing.com): account tool, steps not published
AmWager's Responsible Betting page: "Self-Exclusion: Our self-exclusion tool allows for a temporary or permanent break from gambling." No steps, form, address or phone number is published on the page.
  • By phone — NYRABETS LLC (NYRA Bets, Saratoga Bets, BetMGM Racing, Caesars Racebook): customer service, (844) NYRA-BET
NYRA Bets Responsible Gaming: "Individuals may choose to exclude themselves from establishing an account with NYRA Bets or participating in further wagering with NYRA Bets by contacting customer service at (844) NYRA-BET and making a request for self-exclusion." The same page adds: "Customers outside of New York and Iowa state wishing to self-exclude can deactivate their account with the deactivation form." Whether a New Hampshire account holder uses the phone request or the deactivation form is not stated.
  • Online — ODS Technologies L.P. (TVG, FanDuel Racing): Responsible Gaming page, Timeout & Exclusions, Self-Exclude
TVG's Responsible Gaming page offers "Timeout & Exclusions: Timeout, Self-Exclude, Suspend Account". The Self-Exclude tab reads "Self-Exclude 1-5 Years" and "What a Self-exclusion means: You can't log into your account. You'll need to contact Support to reactivate after exclusion period. You won't receive any marketing communications." The tool sits behind sign-in and was not tested.
  • Online — DK Horse LLC (DraftKings Racing): DraftKings Responsible Gaming, Self-Exclusion
DraftKings Racing Terms of Use: "Information about responsible gaming, including self-exclusion and self-limitation options, is available by clicking HERE. In the event you self-exclude when you have pending bets, such bets will remain active." The Responsible Gaming Center lists Self-Exclusion under Breaks. The steps, the available lengths and any New Hampshire handling were not readable without signing in; DraftKings' help article on limiting access shows only a privileges error. DraftKings' self-exclusion page (read 2026-10-01): "By submitting this form, you will be self-excluded from every DraftKings product, including Golden Nugget Online Gaming (GNOG), DFS and Pick6, DK Horse / DraftKings Racing, DraftKings Predictions, and Jackpocket lottery courier, in all locations." One DraftKings submission therefore covers both DraftKings Sportsbook and DraftKings Racing.

Routes that get you a form or an answer, not an exclusion

  • By email — ADW@lottery.nh.gov
The Commission's general ADW-questions address; not published as a self-exclusion submission route. The Commission's page says: 'Questions about ADW can be directed to ADW@lottery.nh.gov'.
  • By phone — Churchill Downs Technology Initiatives Company (TwinSpires, BetAmerica): Player Services, 877-774-7371
TwinSpires Help Center: "For permanent exclusion, players must contact a supervisor via Player Services at 877-774-7371 to receive a Permanent Exclusion Form" and "After speaking with a supervisor, a Permanent Exclusion Form can be mailed to your address on file." That call is to request the form. It does not enroll you, and where the completed form goes is not stated. The article names no New Hampshire process (only New York and Iowa).
