New Hampshire: sports betting through your DraftKings account

State regulator Run by New Hampshire Lottery & Gaming Commission, Division of Sports Wagering; enforced through DraftKings as the Commission's sole contracted mobile/retail sports wagering agent.

New Hampshire law requires a voluntary self-exclusion program for sports betting, and DraftKings is the Commission's only sportsbook agent, online and at NH Sportsbook locations. The Commission's Director of Sports Betting confirmed in writing on 2026-10-22 that one self-exclusion request, submitted at rg.draftkings.com/breaks/self-exclusion, covers the DraftKings app and NH Sportsbook retail locations, for a one-year or five-year term that cannot be shortened or canceled. Sports 603, a planned additional retail channel, never launched. One DraftKings self-exclusion also covers DraftKings Racing: DraftKings says a submission excludes you from every DraftKings product, in all locations.

What it blocks

RSA 287-I:7(V) requires the Commission, independently or through its agent, to provide 'a voluntary self-exclusion program for players to self-exclude themselves from wagering for set periods of time.' N.H. Admin. R. Lot 3003.05(a)(3) separately requires each agent's own responsible gaming plan to include 'Options available for patrons to self-exclude from wagering.' Together these confirm retail and mobile sports wagering (the DraftKings Sportsbook App and NH Sportsbook retail locations) must offer some self-exclusion option. The Commission's Director of Sports Betting confirmed in writing on 2026-10-22 that a single DraftKings self-exclusion request covers both the mobile app and NH Sportsbook retail locations, and that Sports 603, a planned additional retail channel, never launched, so no Sports 603 retailers exist to cover.

Self-exclusion programs do not all block the same things. Here is what the official rules say about each one.

How to enroll, how long it lasts, and the sources

Terms you can choose

The Commission's Director of Sports Betting answered in writing on 2026-10-22: "Customers may select one year or five year self-exclusion periods. Once confirmed, the selected exclusion period cannot be shortened or canceled. Following expiration, customers must log in to their account and complete a self-exclusion reinstatement attestation before resuming play." This satisfies RSA 287-I:7(V)'s 'set periods of time' requirement with the two specific terms DraftKings offers.

When it ends

This continues until you request removal.

The Commission's Director of Sports Betting answered in writing on 2026-10-22 that after a one-year or five-year term expires, the person must log in and complete a self-exclusion reinstatement attestation before resuming play; the term itself cannot be shortened or canceled early.

How to enroll

Open Self-Exclusion in your DraftKings Sportsbook account.

Sign in to the DraftKings app or website and open the Self-Exclusion page at rg.draftkings.com/breaks/self-exclusion. Choose a one-year or five-year term; the Commission's Director of Sports Betting confirmed in writing that once confirmed, the term cannot be shortened or canceled.

  1. Sign in to your DraftKings Sportsbook account. DraftKings is the Commission's only sportsbook agent in New Hampshire.
  2. Open the Self-Exclusion page at rg.draftkings.com/breaks/self-exclusion and choose one year or five years. Once confirmed, the term cannot be shortened or canceled.
  3. That one submission also covers NH Sportsbook retail locations and DraftKings Racing. DraftKings says it excludes you "from every DraftKings product, including … DK Horse / DraftKings Racing", in all locations, so a DraftKings Racing account needs no second request. Sports 603, a planned additional retail channel, never launched.
  4. If you only bet in person at an NH Sportsbook counter, no in-person self-exclusion route has been confirmed. The Commission says the DraftKings account request above covers NH Sportsbook retail locations too, so use it even if you never bet online.
  5. Need help? Email support@draftkings.com or use the chat function in the app or on the website.
  6. After your term expires, log in and complete a self-exclusion reinstatement attestation before resuming play.
  7. The Commission says that to exclude from several kinds of gambling a person has to contact the iLottery, the sportsbook agent and each racing and Games of Chance operator separately. Do each one you use.

Before you count on it. The New Hampshire screens themselves sit behind sign-in, so we could not see them directly; the term menu and removal rule above come from the Commission's written answer, not a page we read ourselves. Processing time and confirmation are not published. Check that your account shows the exclusion as active before you rely on it. Whether eligibility depends on where you live is not established.

Every route we checked

Routes that enroll you

  • Online — DraftKings Sportsbook account: Self-Exclusion page at rg.draftkings.com/breaks/self-exclusion (DraftKings is the Commission's sole contracted sportsbook agent)
DraftKings' New Hampshire Sportsbook Terms of Use (last updated 6/1/2023): "The Company shall also permit the Authorized Account Holder to set responsible gaming limits and to self-exclude." The Commission's Director of Sports Betting confirmed in writing on 2026-10-22: "Customers can request self-exclusion through an online form available in the DraftKings app or website. After logging in, customers can access the Self-Exclusion page and complete the form. The self-exclusion page is available at rg.draftkings.com/breaks/self-exclusion." That page sits behind sign-in, so we could not see its exact fields directly. The Director also confirmed: "Yes. A self-exclusion request submitted through DraftKings covers both the DraftKings mobile app and NH Sportsbook locations. Sports 603 did not launch, so there are no Sports 603 retailers to include." One DraftKings submission therefore covers the mobile app, NH Sportsbook retail locations, and DraftKings Racing (per the operator's own all-products self-exclusion language).

Routes that get you a form or an answer, not an exclusion

  • By email — support@draftkings.com
The Commission's Director of Sports Betting answered in writing on 2026-10-22: "Customers who need assistance with self-exclusion can email support@draftkings.com, which is handled by DraftKings' Customer Support team. Customers can also access support through the chat function on the DraftKings app or website." This is a support contact, not a separate enrollment route.
  • In person — Any New Hampshire Sportsbook location
Named as a place to play. The Commission's Director of Sports Betting confirmed in writing on 2026-10-22 that the DraftKings account self-exclusion request covers NH Sportsbook retail locations; whether a location also takes a self-exclusion request in person is not addressed. Sports 603, a separately branded retail channel, never launched, so it is removed as a location.
