Pennsylvania: iLottery online account

State regulator Run by Pennsylvania Lottery, Department of Revenue.

A Pennsylvania Lottery exclusion for the online iLottery product only. It blocks login, plays, deposits, second-chance drawings and promotions on your registered account. It does not stop you buying lottery tickets in a store, and it has no effect on any of the four Gaming Control Board lists.

Reviewed 2026-09-17 against official sources. Every fact below links to the page it came from. How we check facts.

What it blocks

Applies to the online iLottery product only: a self-excluded registered player may not purchase plays, shares or chances, deposit money into the lottery account, or participate in iLottery promotions. It explicitly does not stop the purchase of lottery tickets in stores, and does not cover any PGCB-regulated gambling.

Self-exclusion programs do not all block the same things. Here is what the official rules say about each one.

How to enroll, how long it lasts, and the sources

Terms you can choose

Six months, one year or five years. The request is irrevocable once made. Removal is not automatic: the account is not restored when the period ends and the player must contact the Bureau to reinstate.

When it ends

This continues until you request removal.

The account is not restored when the chosen period ends: the player has to contact the Bureau to reinstate it. The request itself is irrevocable once made.

How to enroll

Open Responsible Gambling in your iLottery account.

The request is made inside your own iLottery account, under Responsible Gambling in the My Account menu. There is no form and no other published route. Signing in or opening the menu does not exclude you. A submitted and verified request does, and the regulation describes that as taking effect immediately.

  1. Sign in to your iLottery account. Open My Account, then Responsible Gambling.
  2. Choose six months, one year or five years. Once made, the request cannot be reversed for the length of the term.
  3. Confirm your details (name, date of birth, address, phone, email, and your Social Security number or its last four digits) and accept the acknowledgements. Identity comes from your registered account. No selfie, notary or ID upload is described.
  4. Submit the request. It takes effect on submission and verification. No receipt or confirmation message is described; the only described sign it took is the account itself becoming locked. Try logging in afterwards to check.
  5. Your account is not restored when the term ends. To reinstate it, email iLottery player support at support@PAiLottery.com. The Lottery's help pages say you must ask for reinstatement and publish no timeline, so ask early.

Before you count on it. This covers the online account only. Tickets sold in stores remain available to you, and none of the Gaming Control Board lists is affected. Account registration requires being in Pennsylvania; eligibility for the exclusion itself is not separately stated. iLottery player support is 1-833-530-PLAY (7529) or support@PAiLottery.com, both published on the Lottery's own pages; it answers questions and handles reinstatement, and it cannot make the request for you. Signing in or opening the Responsible Gambling menu does not exclude you; only a submitted request does. We don't submit anything for you.

Every route we checked

Routes that enroll you

  • Online — the player's own iLottery account, under Responsible Gambling in the My Account menu
The regulation provides for the request through the registered player's lottery account or other means authorized by the Secretary. There is no downloadable form and no other published enrollment route.

Routes that get you a form or an answer, not an exclusion

  • By phone — 1-833-530-PLAY (7529)
PA iLottery Player Support. The Lottery's own pages publish 'Call: 1-833-530-PLAY (7529)' and 'Email: support@PAiLottery.com' (palottery.pa.gov Please Play Responsibly footer and help.pailottery.com), read 2026-10-01. It handles questions and reinstatement requests; it is not where the exclusion is made, and the help center says Player Support cannot complete the opt-out for the player.
  • By email — support@PAiLottery.com
The help center's removal article says 'Players must request reinstatement by contacting support@pailottery.com' when a self-exclusion period ends. This is the published reinstatement route. It is not an enrollment route.
