Gambling self-exclusion in Missouri
Self-exclusion in Missouri: you need three separate enrollments. Missouri: casinos, run by the Missouri Gaming Commission. First step: Apply online and choose the Disassociated Persons List. It continues until a removal is granted. Missouri: sports betting, online and in person, run by the Missouri Gaming Commission. First step: Apply online and choose the Sports Wagering list. It ends on its own at the end of the term. Missouri: Lottery prizes over $600 and the players club, run by the Missouri Lottery Commission. First step: Mail the notarized agreement to the Responsible Gaming Coordinator. It has no published way to lift it. None substitutes for another, and this is not everything in Missouri.

We list what we've confirmed. If a casino isn't here, we haven't found its program yet. That doesn't mean it has none.

Asking a program for a form or an answer does not enroll you.

Before you count on it. This is for life. You may petition for removal no sooner than five years after placement; removal takes sixty days or more and is effective only on written notice. If you are ever removed and later re-enroll, the second placement is irrevocable and there is no second petition. No mailing address is published for a first application; the PO Box on the Commission's site is for removals and address changes, so do not post your application there. Whether non-residents may apply, and how long processing takes, are not verified. Submitting is not proof of placement. Keep the Notice of Placement as your proof. | ||||||||

Before you count on it. This is a lifetime agreement and no removal process is published. It does not stop ticket sales: you can still buy at any retailer, and prizes of $600 or less still pay. If you need to be kept out of casinos or sportsbooks, those are separate applications with the Gaming Commission. Whether non-residents may enroll, and whether an out-of-state or remote notary is accepted, are not verified. Mailing the agreement does not confirm enrollment. | ||||||||

Before you count on it. Five-year term with automatic removal at the end; the Commission cannot take you off sooner. To stay listed, ask in the final three months, and you can renew for further five-year terms as often as you choose. Whether you can join this list in person at a Commission office is not published. Whether non-residents may apply, and how long processing takes, are not verified. Submitting does not mean every sportsbook has your name yet. | ||||||||
Gambling types in Missouri
One self-exclusion list rarely blocks every kind of gambling. Here is what we found for each type of gambling in this state.
| Gambling type | What we found | Sources |
|---|---|---|
| racing and pari-mutuel | Not checked yet | 0 sources |
| charitable bingo | Not checked yet | 0 sources |
| tribal casinos | No program foundWhat we checked: Federally reported Indian gaming operations as listed in the NIGC Gaming Tribe Report (Sorted By State) updated 2024-12-10. A statement about that report on that date, not a current survey of gambling in Missouri.WhyThe NIGC Gaming Tribe Report sorted by state, updated 2024-12-10 and read 2026-09-18, has no Missouri section: it lists 29 states and Missouri is not among them. The only "Missouri" text in the report is the Sac and Fox Nation of Missouri in Kansas, a Kansas facility, so a text search for the state name is not enough. This establishes that no federally reported tribal gaming operation was listed for Missouri as of that report date. It says nothing about operations opened since, unreported gaming, or any other gambling category. | 1 source

How we checked
These are the kinds of gambling we checked. The list may not include every way to gamble in the state.
Missouri has three programs across two agencies. The Gaming Commission runs two separate lists: Disassociated Persons for casinos, and Self-Excluded Persons for sports betting, created by rules effective November 30, 2025, alongside the December 2025 sports betting launch. The Lottery runs a third, a notarized lifetime agreement that blocks prizes over $600 but not ticket purchases. The two Commission lists handle removal differently. The casino list is for life, with a petition allowed after five years. The sports list is a five-year term with automatic removal. The Commission's own public notice says online casino gambling is illegal in Missouri. No mailing address is published for a first casino enrollment, and the address that does appear is for removal. We checked the official sources linked on this page, not every way to gamble in the state. Unless a program says otherwise, the sources we read don't say whether you have to live in Missouri to sign up.
How Missouri's programs fit together
Missouri has three separate lists, two from the Gaming Commission (casinos and sports betting) and one from the Lottery, and signing up for one doesn't put you on the others.
What we know about each one
The casino list doesn't cover sports betting, and neither Gaming Commission list touches the Lottery. The Lottery's agreement blocks prizes over $600 and your players club account, and you can still buy tickets. Signing up for all of them still doesn't cover every way to gamble in the state.
