bet365 (US) — self-exclusion from your bet365 account
The company’s own exclusion Run by bet365 (Hillside state licensees).
bet365 runs each US state through its own licensee and responsible-gaming site, and the self-exclusion rules differ by state. In most states you set it under Gaming Controls in your account for 6 months, 1, 2 or 5 years, or indefinitely, and bet365 says the account can never be reopened. In New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Kansas the same button or page leads into the state's own list. One bet365 account works across states; whether an exclusion follows you into another state is not stated.
What it blocks
- Online play. "During a period of Self-Exclusion you will not be able to use your account ... It will not be possible to re-open your account for any reason. bet365 will do all it can to prevent new accounts being opened."
- Marketing and mailings. bet365 says it will remove you from its marketing databases.
Terms you can choose
Most states: "6 months, 1 year, 2 years, 5 years or indefinitely." Others differ (Louisiana adds 30 days, Tennessee uses 1, 3 and 5 years, New Jersey and Pennsylvania 1 year, 5 years or permanently, Kansas 2 years, 5 years or lifetime).
When it ends
This has no published way to lift it.
How removal works. For bet365-run exclusions: "It will not be possible to re-open your account for any reason." No route back is described even after the period. State-run exclusions follow the state: New Jersey requires an in-person visit to the Division of Gaming Enforcement to request re-activation.
On a lifetime term. "indefinitely" is a listed term; no removal route is described.
How to enroll
Open bet365’s self-exclusion steps.
You self-exclude inside your signed-in bet365 account. The page shows where. Opening it changes nothing.
- Sign in to bet365.
- Open the Account Menu, then Gaming Controls, then Self-Exclusion.
- Pick a length. bet365 says a self-excluded account can never be reopened.
- Write down the date and any confirmation you get.
Before you count on it. Keep the state steps in your plan. Whether this reaches your state’s own list depends on the state, and most apps don’t say.
Every route we checked
Routes that enroll you
- Online — bet365 account, signed in: Account Menu, Gaming Controls, Self-Exclusion
"You can self-exclude your account in the “Gaming Controls” section in the Account Menu by choosing Self-Exclusion." In New Jersey the same request goes to the state's list.
Routes that get you a form or an answer, not an exclusion
- By phone — 1-888-8-BET-365 (10:00 AM to 10:00 PM ET)
bet365's responsible-gaming contact line. The page does not say a self-exclusion can be made by phone.
Requirements and sources
Sources read 2026-10-05. These are the program's requirements, not a record of anyone's enrollment.
- What it covers
- Not verified: Each state page is written for that state's licensee ("Hillside (Kentucky) LLC" and so on) and says self-exclusion "prevents you gambling with bet365" without saying whether that means every state. One account is usable across 19 jurisdictions: "If you're traveling outside of your registered jurisdiction ... select Log In and enter your details as normal to access your account." Whether an exclusion set under one state's licensee blocks the account in another state is not stated. On state lists: in New Jersey the in-account request is "submitted to the Division of Gaming Enforcement in New Jersey"; Pennsylvania and Kansas route you to the state program; Kentucky says permanent exclusion requests "will be shared with the Kentucky Horse Racing and Gaming Corporation for the purpose of possibly distributing your self-exclusion to all Kentucky sportsbook licensees." For the other states the page does not mention a state list.
