DraftKings — self-exclusion across every DraftKings product
The company’s own exclusion Run by DraftKings Inc.
DraftKings runs one self-exclusion for every product it operates: Sportsbook, Casino, Golden Nugget Online Gaming, daily fantasy and Pick6, DK Horse / DraftKings Racing, DraftKings Predictions and the Jackpocket lottery courier. You set it inside your signed-in account, it applies in every state, and DraftKings says it cannot shorten a period once set. In Connecticut, Kansas and Kentucky (racing) DraftKings says the request can also reach the state's list; elsewhere it does not say so.
What it blocks
- Online play. During the period: "You can't log into your DraftKings account. You can't make any deposits. You can't enter fantasy sports contests. You can't make any sports wagers. You can't play in any casino games." Open DraftKings Predictions positions cannot be sold during the period.
- Marketing and mailings. "You won't be sent any direct marketing from DraftKings."
Terms you can choose
Help article durations: "3 Months (Fantasy Sports only, excluding Connecticut (CT) patrons). 6 Months (Fantasy Sports only, excluding Connecticut (CT) patrons). 1 Year 3 years 5 Years Lifetime" with "You'll see all options defined by your jurisdiction when setting the self-exclusion period." Which lengths a given state offers is not published outside the account.
When it ends
A fixed term ends on its own at the end of the term; a lifetime term has no published way to lift it.
A fixed term. "After the self-exclusion period, your account will be available for regular use again." "Once a self-exclusion period is set, DraftKings isn't permitted to shorten that period." In Connecticut, the DCP list keeps a person excluded "until their self-exclusion period expires and they request removal from the list."
A lifetime term. Lifetime is one of the listed durations. Neither page describes any way to remove it, and DraftKings says it cannot shorten a set period.
How to enroll
Open DraftKings’ self-exclusion steps.
You self-exclude inside your signed-in DraftKings account. The help page explains how. Opening it changes nothing.
- Sign in to DraftKings.
- Open Responsible Gaming, then Breaks, then Self-Exclusion.
- Pick a length and submit the form. DraftKings logs you out when it is done.
- Write down the date and any confirmation you get.
Before you count on it. Keep the state steps in your plan. Whether this reaches your state’s own list depends on the state, and most apps don’t say.
Every route we checked
Routes that enroll you
- Online — DraftKings Responsible Gaming Center, Breaks, Self-Exclusion (rg.draftkings.com/breaks/self-exclusion), signed in
The page is a submission form behind sign-in: "By submitting this form, you will be self-excluded from every DraftKings product" and the button reads "Log In To Self-Exclude." After a successful submission "you will be logged out immediately." The page opens in a browser.
Requirements and sources
Sources read 2026-10-22. These are the program's requirements, not a record of anyone's enrollment.
- What it covers
- DraftKings' self-exclusion page: "By submitting this form, you will be self-excluded from every DraftKings product, including Golden Nugget Online Gaming (GNOG), DFS and Pick6, DK Horse / DraftKings Racing, DraftKings Predictions, and Jackpocket lottery courier, in all locations." Its help article: "once you self-exclude in one location, your self-exclusion applies everywhere." Relationship to state lists, in DraftKings' own words: in Connecticut, "individuals that exclude themselves from daily fantasy sports through DraftKings' website in Connecticut will also be added to the self-exclusion list maintained by the Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection"; in Kansas, sportsbook self-excluders "may also be added to the self-exclusion list maintained by the KRGC"; for Kentucky residents who use DraftKings Horse or Racing, the request is a request "to be added to the Kentucky Horse Racing and Gaming Commission (KHRGC) Voluntary Self-Exclusion List." For Louisiana, Pennsylvania and Iowa the page only points to the state program. For every other state it says nothing about a state list, so whether a DraftKings exclusion reaches one there is not established.
- Entering the property
- Not verified: This is an online account tool. The operator's pages do not say whether it reaches any retail sportsbook counter or land casino. New Hampshire is one confirmed instance: the NH Lottery and Gaming Commission's Director of Sports Betting confirmed in writing on 2026-10-22 that a single DraftKings self-exclusion request there covers both the mobile app and NH Sportsbook retail locations. Retail sportsbooks in other states run under their own arrangements with DraftKings, so New Hampshire's answer does not establish this nationally; the status here stays unknown.
- Betting and winnings
- Not verified: Not addressed; the tool governs the online account.
- Credit, check cashing and rewards
- Not verified: Deposits are blocked (see online). No credit or check-cashing provision applies to an online account, and none is described.
- Online play
- During the period: "You can't log into your DraftKings account. You can't make any deposits. You can't enter fantasy sports contests. You can't make any sports wagers. You can't play in any casino games." Open DraftKings Predictions positions cannot be sold during the period.

Which lengths a given state offers is not published outside the account.
- Can a resident enroll
- "Any DraftKings account holder can self-exclude." The tool needs a DraftKings account; no route for a person without one was found.
- Can a visitor enroll
- Account-based, not residence-based: "Any DraftKings account holder can self-exclude," and an exclusion set in one location "applies everywhere."
- Identification
- Not verified: The request is made from a signed-in account ("Log In To Self-Exclude"); no separate identity step is described.
- Notarization
- Not verified: Not mentioned on either page.

- How you are told it took effect
- Not verified: No source says whether DraftKings sends a confirmation email or other written record.
